World Handicraft Day in Iran

The Handicraft Organization of Iran is to celebrate World Handicraft Day in the northern part the country by organizing various art exhibitions.
The main purpose of the Handicraft Organization is to encourage children to enter the field of art and support their handicrafts by holding exhibitions across the country on June 10.
“We are trying to introduce the traditional arts of the region to people and holding such exhibits is a step forward in this direction,” Mohammad Reza Ahmadinia, Vice President of the Handicraft Organization, told the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Network.
Ahmadinia said children play an important role in reinforcing the importance of handicrafts in heritage.
