Short Street Cakes will host the second in a series of local, handmade Craft Markets called “Howard Street Handmade,†located at 227 Haywood Road, at the intersection of Haywood Road and Howard Street.
The market will be from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. April 18. More than 20 vendors featuring all-handmade crafts will display their wares in the renovated brick building adjacent to West Asheville’s newest cake shop.

Howard Street Handmade is a project of Short Street Cakes, and is located next door to the newly opened Cake Shop at 225 Haywood Road. Howard Street Handmade coincides with the beginning of new, extended hours for the Cake Shop. The Cake Shop will be open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. the day of the event, and will be selling cupcakes and coffee to accompany your craft perusing.
