Rosmah Attends Handicraft Exhibition In Indonesia

JAKARTA, March 22 (Bernama) — Datuk Seri Rosmah Mansor, Wednesday attended the opening of the National Handicraft Exhibition at the Jakarta Convention Centre here.
The Deputy Prime Minister’s wife led a 40 member delegation from the Welfare Body of the Wives of Ministers and Deputy Ministers (Bakti), Felda and the Malaysian Handicraft Development Board.
A spokesman at the Malaysian embassy here said the delegation arrived here on the invitation of Indonesian Vice President’s wife Mufida Kalla.
Mufida is also the chairperson of Dewan Kerajinan Indonesia (Dekranas), the organiser of the exhibition participated by more than 400 craft makers from all over Indonesia.
Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono officiated the event that would conclude on Sunday.
Rosmah made a courtesy call on Susilo’s wife, Ibu Ani Yudhoyono at the Istana Negara this evening and later at night would attend a dinner hosted by Mufida.
Rosmah and her entourage who arrived here last night are scheduled to leave for Malaysia, Thursday. — BERNAMA
