The twentieth annual Downriver Craft Sale will be held at Moore Museum in Mooretown, Sept. 14.

The sale of handmade crafts promises a wide array of items, including stone and glass jewelry, porcelain dolls, concrete bird baths, stained glass, fused glass, handmade greeting cards, fudge and home canning.

“There’s a large variety of different crafts; we don’t usually have too many of the same item,” said program staff coordinator, Linda Woods.

Indoor vendor space at 94 Moore Line is no longer available, but some outdoor spaces are still left for $15.

The museum begins advertising for the sale in March and space usually sells out near the end of July, said Woods.

Approximately 1,200 people visit the sale each year to begin their Christmas shopping.

Admission is $1 and hotdogs will be sold throughout the day.
