Srinagar all set to get handicraft cluster park

Srinagar, July 12: Under Integrated Textile Park (ITP) Scheme, Ministry of Textiles, government of India, the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with IL&FS is establishing a Handicraft Cluster Park at Srinagar.

The scheme will be implemented through Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) which shall invariably be a corporate body registered under company’s act and have operational autonomy.
The financial assistance available under the scheme is in the ratio of 90:10 i.e. 90% grant from Ministry of Textiles, GOI and 10% contribution from beneficiary (SPV).
For further information about the scheme the interested stake holders engaged in the business of Handicraft and textile sectors are informed to register their name in the office of KCCI by or before July, 31.
