Congo: World Bank to support Congo’s SMEs, handicraft sector

The World Bank Office in Congo is to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and handicraft sector in the country.

Official sources said in Brazzaville on Thursday that a World Bank delegation wo uld pay a visit to Congo to identify the real needs of the SMEs and handicraft sector in a bid to launch activities aimed at promoting it.

A survey of 150 Congolese enterprises would be carried out in a bid to draw up a support framework for the Congolese SMEs and handicraft sector with the wider goal of strengthening the capacities of the different actors.
