Japanese experts outlined the Japanese market’s requirements for fine arts and handicraft products and gave advice on product design to Vietnamese enterprises hoping to export to this market at a seminar at a seminar in Ha Noi on Nov. 14.
Officials from relevant ministries and managers of handicraft businesses joined more than 150 representatives from craft villages at the event aimed to boost exports of fine arts and handicraft products to Japan.
Horikoshi Toshiharu, a Japanese expert, said fine arts and handicraft products of Viet Nam are made skillfully at low cost. However, Vietnamese enterprises should change their products’ sizes and decorations to meet Japanese consumers’ tastes.
