Showcase Of SME Products In The Capital

Bandar Seri Begawan – Twenty-seven SMEs are currently showcasing their products at the Local Products Exhibition 2006 at the Bumiputera Commercial Centre in the capital, as part of His Majesty the Sultan’s 60`h birthday celebrations for Brunei-Muara District.
The exhibition, which runs until July 31, offers a variety of locally made products such as biscuits, processed and canned food, custom-made handicraft items and furniture.
Visitors can purchase directly from the booths or through bookings, according to the entrepreneurs who are taking part in the exhibition.
There is also a display of portraits and photographs of the Sultan by local artists and a monument entitled “Cenderakenangan” that symbolises the significant historical ties between the city centre and the water village. — Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
