Serenity House, Moville is hosting an Art and Craft Exhibition on St. Patrick’s Day, 17th March. All are very welcome to come to the exhibition and see what art and crafts items have been made at the classes which takes place throughout the year. A pilgrimage to Lourdes, with a coach going from Inishowen and combining a holiday in the beautiful French seaside resort of Canet Plageis being planned from 11th June – 17th June. A table quiz in aid of Moville Playground takes place every Thursday in Rosato’s Bar at 9.30pm. Your support will be greatly appreciated and a quiz in aid of the Donegal Hospice is held in Rawdon’s Bar each Wednesday at 9.30pm. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
A charity benefit dance in memory of Jim Crumlish, in aid of the Donegal Hospice, will take place on Saturday, 4th March in McNamara’s Hotel from 10pm to 2pm. Music by Shunie and Hugh P. Tickets, priced at 8 euro are available at the Cosy Cottage and Morris’ Shop.

This is a one year full time course specially designed for mature students returning to education who would ultimately continue to third level. Moville Celtic Underage will be doing a sponsored ‘Bob A Job’ in the next few weeks, to raise money to buy equipment for the training. For sponsorship sheets contact John L on 074 9382476. Training continues on Monday, 4- 5pm for primary school age group, 7.45pm – 9pm for under 12s and 14s, 9pm to 10pm, under 18s.
There will be a meeting for all those interested in promoting underage soccer in the Moville area in St. Eugene’s Hall on Tuesday, 28th February at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
There was no jackpot winner in this week’s Moville Celtic Numbers Draw. The numbers drawn were 4, 13, 14 & 19. Weekly prizes went to Maura Harkin, Peggy Coyle and Patrick Coyle. The top prize is now up to 2,405 euro with the draw set to take place in the Waterfront this Sunday night.
